अपना शहर और रंगमंच

अधिकांश लोग समझते हैं सपनो का घर है रंगमंच और सारे अभिनेता जगाते हैं नशा   अंधेरे कमरे में.. ब्रतोल्त ब्रेख्त का यह काव्यांश यह बतलाने के लिए काफी है कि फिलवक्त रंगमंच के संबंध में लोगों ने किस प्रकार की राय बना रखी है. बहरहाल आज लोगों का इस प्रकार से सोचना भी कहीं ना कहीं जायज हीं जान पड़ता है ! वर्तमान समय स्वयं अपने आप में इस बात का गवाह है जो हमारे देश के लोगों में इन दिनों सोचने-समझने की क्षमता कम हुई है, साथ हीं कायदे से पढ़ने-लिखने वाले लोग भी लगातार कम हो रहे हैं. यह भी इसका प्रतिफल हीं है जो मोटे दिमाग वाले लोगों का हुजूम हमारे इर्द-गिर्द इतना ज्यादा बढ़ गया है जो कि सरकार चुनने से लेकर, सच्ची कला की परख करने और चीजों को देखने-समझने तक में अधिकांश लोग एकदम से गलत दिशा की ओर अग्रसर हो रहे हैं. इन्हीं बातों के कारण वह आजकल काफी चिढ़ा हुआ सा रहता था तथा लोगो से बातचीत करते हुए भी उसकी बातों में  चिड़-चिड़ापन देखा जा सकता था. वैसे उस समय में भी जब हिन्दी सिनेमा की कद्र करनेवाले ज्यादातर लोग यश चोपड़ा की फिल्मों का मुरीद हुआ करते थे उसे अनुराग कश्यप की फिल्...

                                                                                        i started listening to cohen a long time ago. i was young, innocent and in love for the first time. first love brings with it, the melancholy of unrequited desires and  the ecstasy of belonging. and dramatically it all began. in those days, lovers would sit at their computers and burn cds for their beloveds. we were past the "recording-cassettes" time but not yet into sending songs through whatsapp. somehow, that felt more long lasting. and i stumbled upon leonard cohen. as one of the first sharers of the pangs that rip out the heart. the voice, the aura of the sixties and good old love.                        ...

I unlocked my laptop and the moment I typed "jai hind", my password, I was questioned by my ghoul, 'Are you a muslim?' or  'Are you a nationalist?' you must be thinking what this ghoul is? This web series is about a demon  which was called by a helpless human being when he failed to made his daughter understand the difference between patriotism and jingoism. A man named shahnawaz Rahim who questioned the way of the mission of' wapasi  'of those who had mentally  crossed the boundary set  by the nationals but were living inside the nation.' A Ghoul exists in  everyone regardless of caste,creed,region and religion but is mostly dormant.The whole series can also be taken as a thriller and scary drama but it had a deeper implication where the ghoul is nothing but the guilty conscience projected as the most repulsive image which can instill instant cacophobia.
